GOMOS Processor Releases

Several successive IPF (Instrument Processor Facility) versions had been developed for the improvement of the quality of GOMOS products. The proposed changes were first implemented in a processor prototype (GOPR) and after evaluation of their impact on the Level 2 products and approval, the configuration changes were then implemented in the IPF, which was employed for operational reprocessing.

The processor software version for the operational ground segment is GOMOS/6.01. The table below shows the history of the IPF and GOPR versions released with time and the improvements applied to the GOMOS Products for each version.
