The release information concerning the processor used to generate the products detailed above is available via the JAXA web page.

Further information concerning the new processors used to generate new products in the latest ALOS Optical Bulk Reprocessing will be released shortly. The reprocessing processor chain incorporated (following the conversion of L0 ADEN products into L0 EO-SIP format):

• JAXA ALOS Optical IPF Level 1B1 (v1.4.1)
  • This processor, developed by JAXA, included an ESA wrapper that generated AVNIR-2 L1B1 products in the EO-SIP format.
• ESA ALOS Optical IPF Level 1C (v 4.0, incl. QC AMALFI-2)
  • This processor, developed by DLR for ESA, generated new AVNIR-2 L1C products in the EO-SIP format. These products are radiometrically and geometrically corrected for systematic effects, as well as corrected for terrain relief effects (i.e. orthorectified, through the registration to a common reference map).

The product format specification documents, and additional technical documentation, concerning the products generated by the aforementioned processors are to be made available to users shortly.
