Long-term data: Summarising ESA’s Heritage missions

02 Feb 2023

ESA’s Heritage Space Programme preserves data from non-operational missions, including the ESA missions ERS and Envisat, and Third Party Missions such as ALOS-1, NOAA POES, and older SPOT and Landsat satellites. In addition to preservation, the programme aims to improve upon the data and align it with products released by more recent missions. The programme offers data from over 45 missions dating back to the 1970s.
