Minimize Envisat MERIS Full Resolution Full Swath Gallery 2012

MERIS FRS Gallery 2012 - The generation of the Full Resolution Full Swath product was introduced in the processor IPF version 4.10, installed in January 2005.

This series features MERIS FRS products acquired by the instrument aboard Envisat from around the world in 2012; the final year of operation for the Envisat satellite.

For comparison, this image from 2004 clearly demonstrates change to the Aral Sea between 2004 and 2012. The sea has been shrinking since the 1960s and this has had a disastrous impact on the people living in the area.
