Portugal, November 1997 - After several days of rain, the area near the Guadiana River along the Spain – Portugal border was hit by a violent flood.

On 07 November, the ESA's (European Space Agency) ERS-2 Satellite passed over the final part of the Tagus River course (Portugal).

The Earth Watching team planned a fast delivery transmission from the acquiring station at Fucino, Italy.
