Collection Description

The Aeolus End-of-Life (EOL) Level 1A (L1A) product (ALD_U_N_1A) provides binary geolocated unprocessed data. The L1A product is an intermediate output of the Level 0 (L0) to Level 1B (L1B) processing chain and contains the geolocation, the satellite and instrument house-keeping data, and the Rayleigh and Mie spectrometer counts on the pixel scale of the Accumulation Charge-Coupled Devise (ACCD) detector.

Satellite and instrument tests were performed during the EOL activities phase after the end of the nominal Aeolus mission from 1 May 2023 to 5 July 2023 and before the re-entry of the Aeolus satellite on 28 July 2023.
