Collection Description
The Biomass Level 2A collection contains the following products:
- Forest Disturbance: A product consisting of three stack-based images with different resolution and projection (latitude-longitude) with respect to the Level 1C source data:
- one image representing the probability of change at a given Global cycle, obtained from L1c processing and auxiliary data
- one image representing the forest disturbance, a binary classification of intact/deforested areas, obtained from the probability of change
- the CFM (Computed Forest Mask) image, which is an update, based on disturbance, of the FNF mask given as input, generated outside of BPS
- Forest Height: A product consisting of two stack-based images representing top canopy height and its quality layer, obtained from Level 1C processing and auxiliary data and with a different resolution and projection (latitude-longitude) with respect to the Level 1C source data
- Ground Notched: A product consisting of stack-based images obtained from Level 1C processing and auxiliary data: the ground cancelled calibrated backscatter for all polarisations (HH/VH/VV). The retrieved parameters have a different resolution and projection (latitude-longitude) with respect to the Level 1C source data.
