Minimize Saint Petersburg, Russia

Our last article for 2019 looks at the city of St. Petersburg in Russia with the Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission.

The images show a comaprison of Russia's largest city in natural colour (bands 4,3,2) and false colour in infrared (bands 8,4,3).

The city takes its name from its founder, Tsar Peter the Great, and is situated on the Neva River delta, which flows into the Gulf of Finland.
