This week's image from the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Satellite, shows the city of Liverpool with a combination of natural and false colour bands. Liverpool is a maritime city in the north-west of England, which stands at the point where the Mersey River meets the Irish Sea An important commercial and migratory center from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th, its waters are crossed by ferries that sail along the coast, where the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building stand. These processed images are intended to show the various fields of application that the family of Copernicus satellites offer to the scientific community.
