Amsterdam, The Netherlands
SAR Orbit number: 47371

This Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) multitemporal colour composite image is centred over most of The Netherlands.

Precisely in the centre of the image is the city of Amsterdam (bright area). Zooming in very much detail of the city may be observed, such as the 90 islands that make up the city and are divided by canals crossed by hundreds of picturesque bridges. The waterways of the city have their origin in IJsselmeer and the Amstel and IJ rivers.
