Toolbox Functionality and Algorithm Specification Document - GOCE User Toolbox Specifications (GUTS)
Deliverable: WP3000: This report is the output from WP3000 of the GOCE User Toolbox Specification. The study will select the best (in terms of accuracy and computational demands) algorithms to compute the variables listed in the user requirement document [1]. This document will form the basis for the system specification work performed in WP4000 and the prototype and tutorials to be generated in WP5000, all available in this library.

The Four Candidate Earth Explorer Core Missions - GOCE
The Living Planet Programme document (ESA SP-1227, available to be ordered on this Library in the General Information section) describes the plans for the Agency's new strategy for Earth Observation in the post-2000 time frame. Out of the nine Earth Explorer Core Missions identified in 1996, four Core Missions were selected for Phase-A studies, which began in 1998. In particular this is volume 1 describing in detail the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Mission.

Reports from Mission Selection - The Four Candidate Earth Explorer Core Missions
The Living Planet Programme document (ESA SP-1227, available on this Library) describes the plans for the Agency's new strategy for Earth Observation in the post-2000 time frame. Out of the nine Earth Explorer Core Missions identified in 1996, four Core Missions were selected for Phase-A studies, which began in 1998, namely: the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Mission; the Land-Surface Processes and Interaction Mission; the Earth Radiation Mission; and the Atmospheric Dynamics Mission. The 4 volumes forming this Special Publication describe in detail each single mission.

Performance Requirements and Budgets for the Gradiometric Mission
The purpose of this document is to provide a description of the GOCE gravimetric reference mission and of the reference gravity gradient tensor (GGT) model for the performance analysis; to provide an end-to-end analysis of the GGT measurement process; to provide the classification of the error sources of affecting the measurement of the GGT; to allocate performance requirements to the identified error sources through the apportionment of the assigned toplevel gradiometric performance requirement; to define the procedure for the compilation of the error budget for the measurement of the GGT; to provide the error budget for the measurement of the GGT (diagonal and off-diagonal components).
