Hurricane Felix (Caribbean Sea), September 2007
Hurricane Felix formed in the Caribbean Sea in September 2007. It struck land twice, first hitting northeastern Nicaragua and then northeastern Honduras, resulting in extensive devastation. The first image depicts Hurricane Felix over the Caribbean Sea, while the second image captures its passage over the states of Honduras and Guatemala, where it weakened to a Tropical Depression.
