Title: Saharan Dust event by LIDAR
Description: Complex vertical structure of Saharan Dust event captured by the MWL-LIDAR on 25 February 2021, at APL (urban site). In the first six kilometres altitude above ground, it is possible to detect up to ten distinct aerosol layers of different thickness. The information on the vertical displacement of aerosol layers, and their temporal evolution, is of primary importance for the validation of satellite products.
