Vision-1 data now open to users

17 May 2022

In the framework of the Third Party Missions programme, ESA is offering, for scientific research and application development, access to archive and new tasking data from the Vision-1 mission upon submission and acceptance of a project proposal.

Vision-1 provides very high resolution optical products with resolution up to 0.87 m in panchromatic mode and 3.48 m in multispectral mode as standard. They are particularly suited for defence, security, urban planning, maritime and agriculture applications.

The Vision-1 full archive and tasking collection is open for research and application development, prototype and test projects to worldwide users but Airbus DS can introduce limitation due to security regulations. ESA will support as many high-quality and innovative European and Canadian projects as possible within the quota limit available, therefore only a limited number of products may be provided to each project.

Availability and restrictions on the use of the data are described in the ESA Third Party Missions T&C and in the Terms of Applicability document.
