The complete dataset of reprocessed CryoSat Ocean Baseline-D data covering July 2010 to September 2024 has been published on the Science Server and is now available for download.

Ocean Baseline-D entered operational use in September 2024 and introduces significant improvements to CryoSat ocean products. Key updates include:

• An upgraded SAMOSA retracker (version 2.3 to 2.5)
• Fewer processing failures
• Dedicated Sea State Bias (SSB) processing in SAR mode
• Updated Mean Sea Surface (MSS) and Mean Dynamic Topography (MDT) solutions
