Adam's Bridge Evolution: A Satellite Perspective from 2006 to 2018

These Landsat 5 and 8 images from 2006 and 2018 reveal Adam's Bridge, once a land connection between India and Sri Lanka. Originally destroyed by a cyclone in 1480, the bridge's remnants have resurfaced, reshaping the geography of the Indian Ocean's Strait of Palk with small islands and sand banks.
