To the north is the town of Tamuning, on the western shore of the United States territory of Guam, and the bluish, coral-rich shores of Tumon Bay. In the ocean, high chlorophyll concentrations are concentrated in areas where tiny, plant-like organisms (phytoplankton) thrive.
