RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow users to automatically receive updates from websites without having to visit the web pages for new content.
Users wishing to subscribe need to follow the steps below:
- Download an RSS Reader (i.e. Newz Crawler, FeedReader, Google Reader, My Yahoo).
There are many different kinds of news readers: some are accessed via a browser and require the creation of an account, whilst others are downloadable applications which automatically deliver feeds to your PC.
- Locate the URL of the RSS feed (XML file) that you wish to subscribe to.
The list of RSS feeds offered by Earthnet Online is available below.
You can subscribe for free to as many feeds as you like.
- Click on the news feed link and insert the URL (address) of the news feed in your RSS Reader (there is usually an "add feed" button).
- The information in the feed will now be updated when the feed contains new content.
