Following the anomaly with the Cloud Profiling Radar (CPR) onboard EarthCARE that occurred on 2 May 2026, it has been confirmed that CPR is now operational again. As of 13 May 2026, after a joint JAXA/ESA investigation, CPR returned to nominal operating mode.
