Collision avoidance manoeuvre on Swarm Bravo on 16 April 2018
20 April 2018
An orbit collision avoidance manoeuvre was performed on Swarm Bravo on 16 April 2018 at 16:10 UTC for a duration of 96 seconds equivalent to a Delta V = 2 cm/s.
This manoeuvre lowered the spacraft's orbit, ensuring enough separation between Swarm B and the chaser, and did not contain any slew.
For safety reasons, the EFI was put in ready state before the end of a science orbit so EFI data are not available from 15:36 to 15:42 UTC on 16 April.
