Copernicus Sentinels

The Copernicus Sentinel missions are state of the art Earth observation satellites developed as part of an initiative between ESA and the EC. Each mission focuses on a particular EO field.

Earth Explorers

ESA's Earth Explorer missions are dedicated to addressing key scientific challenges identified by the EO community. Each mission employs the latest technological developments to observe different EO fields.

Earth Watch

ESA's Earth Watch programme consists of missions developed and operated in partnership with other organisations. The missions target specific strategic applications such as monitoring vegetation or stratospheric ozone profiles.

Heritage Missions

ESA's Heritage missions programme preserves 30 years of historical data from more than 45 satellite missions that are no longer operational.

Meteorological Missions

Meteorological missions play a vital role in weather prediction, and their data are used around the world on a daily basis. ESA and EUMETSAT have worked together to offer data from dedicated meteorological satellite missions for more than 40 years.
