WorldDEM products have been added to the TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X offering and are now available to users for research and application development following submission of a project proposal subject to evaluation and acceptance by ESA and the data owner.

ESA will support as many high-quality and innovative projects as possible within the quota limit available, therefore only a limited number of products may be provided to each project. Availability and restrictions to the use of the data are described in the ESA Third Party Missions (TPM) T&C and in the Terms of Applicability document.

The collection is open to users located in ESA Member States (including Canada), European Commission Member States, Africa, and China as part of the Dragon cooperation programme (Airbus DS can introduce limitations due to security regulations).
