New Swarm Burst and Whistler products from IPGP/CNES/CEA-Leti released

We are pleased to announce that two new Swarm products making use of Absolute Scalar Magnetometer (ASM) high-rate data at 250 Hz (acquired when the instrument is operating in Burst Mode), are now available on Swarm Dissemination Server.

The new products, ASMxBUR_1B and WHIxEVT_2_  comes from a collaboration between the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP), the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES) and the Laboratoire d'électronique des technologies de l'information (CEA-Leti) in the framework of Swarm xDISC contract.

The ASMxBUR_1B product contains magnetic scalar data at 250 Hz rate provided at ASM instrument time stamp and are provided at the following path:

/Advanced/Magnetic_Data/ASM_Burst_Mode_Data/Data

The WHIxEVT_2_ product contains information about the Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) portion of whistlers detected during ASM Burst Mode sessions and are provided with version 0201 at the following path:

/Level2daily/Latest_baselines/WHI/EVT
