ESA is now accepting proposals for sessions at the next Living Planet Symposium – set to take place on 23–27 May 2022 at the World Conference Centre in Bonn, Germany.

Held every three years, the Living Planet Symposium is the largest Earth observation conference in the world – bringing together international scientists and researchers to present and discuss the latest findings on Earth science and advances in Earth observation technologies.

The focus of the Living Planet Symposium 2022, which is being organised with the support of the German Aerospace Centre DLR, will be on initiatives addressing the role of Earth observation activities in solving global challenges, such as climate change, sustainable development and food security.

Until 10 September 2021, interested parties can submit their proposals for sessions directly on the Living Planet Symposium website. You are invited to submit a session title, session description and a list of potential reviewers for each proposed session.

The final programme will feature around 160 sessions, which will be selected by the programme committee.
