We are pleased to announce that thanks to the effort of the Swarm Flight Operations Team and DISC partners, a down-link optimisation strategy to reduce the latency of Swarm FAST data acquired over Northern Europe was implemented on 11 March 2024.

The new strategy allows for faster retrieval of Swarm science data during passages over Kiruna ground station, resulting in better geographical coverage over Europe above 60°N Latitude and within 3 hours of data acquisition.
