CryoSat data users are informed that, after the introduction of native NetCDF data compression with Ice Baseline E, we have decided to distribute Full Bit Rate (FBR) products as separate .HDR and .nc files instead of a packaged .TGZ file as we have done until now. This will reduce the delivery time and allow FBR products to be indexed and made easily available on catalogues.

As of 8 November 2021, all Baseline E FBR products on the Science Server will be made available in the new configuration.

Users retrieving data automatically are advised to verify that their processes are still working in the new configuration.
