Measuring long-term ice sheet elevation
19 Mar 2026
ESA has acquired satellite data of ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland for over thirty years, contributing to long-term studies of how these regions are changing.
These observations include data from the ERS, Envisat, CryoSat, and Copernicus Sentinel-3 missions, creating a record from 1991 to the present.

Download land ice thematic data products from ERS-1 and 2, and Envisat. This dataset contains reprocessed data from the three missions focused on the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets.
