Collection Description

The Aeolus Level 2C (L2C) product provides Aeolus-assisted wind vector profiles derived from assimilation of L2B data into the ECMWF NWP model. It contains zonal and meridional wind profiles at Aeolus observation locations, available at ~87 km and finer (~3–87 km) scales, and is distributed as a .DBL file with an accompanying .HDR header.
