The European Space Agency has sponsored studies into the generation of single-look complex products from the Envisat ASAR in its wide-swath mode. It now seeks to implement a wide-swath SLC product operationally and act to encourage the widespread exploitation of such data.

The ASAR Wide-Swath Single-Look Complex Product Working Group serves to coordinate science and exploitation studies in a range of potential application fields and gather results and feedback to optimise the implementation of an operational product.

The studies are carried out using sample data provided in the context of ongoing ESA Envisat AO projects.

This site will summarise the progress and results of the Working Group, give information about the data format and provide an update on the planned implementation of an operational wide swath SLC product.
