ESA/ESRIN offers plenty of help to those wishing to order products: the Helpdesk is always at your disposal. Please read the guides on how to access and how to apply for Earth Observation data.
A new technical website for the ESA's Earth Explorer SMOS (Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity) satellite has been implemented and launched on Earthnet Online.
SMOS has been launched on 2 November 2009 by a Rockot vehicle from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia.
Starting on 24th November 2009 and progressively thereafter at all processing centres across the Envisat ground segment, a new version of the ASAR
processor [05.03L03] will be used to generate Near-Real Time (NRT) and off-line products.
The 2010 European Space Agency Living Planet Symposium follows the previous successful ENVISAT Symposia in Montreux (2007), Salzburg (2004), Gothenburg (2000), Florence (1997), Hamburg (1993) and Cannes (1992).
The Symposium will provide an opportunity to present future ESA missions in development (GMES Sentinels, Earth Explorers and meteorological missions) and national EO missions. Deadline for abstract submission is 1 December 2009.
The scope of this guide is to help users identify the various types of data that are available from the Third Party Missions, the applications that the data may be used for, and the procedures required for access - including registration, search, selection and retrieval of the data of interest.
