Minimize GOMOS Products and Algorithms
Minimize Processor Releases

Several successive IPF (Instrument Processor Facility) versions have been developed for the improvement of the quality of GOMOS products. The proposed changes are first implemented in a processor prototype (GOPR) and after evaluation of their impact on the Level 2 products and approval, the configuration changes are then implemented in the IPF, which is employed for operational reprocessing.

The current processor software version for the operational ground segment is GOMOS/6.01. The table below shows the history of the IPF and GOPR versions released with time and the improvements applied to the GOMOS Products for each version.
