ESA requires EO data users to register and create a personal account, before they can access ESA missions and Third Party Missions data, and the associated support from the EO Help Desk.

EO Sign In—the new system allowing users to register and log in—is based on a more modern technology, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations. It has a user-friendly interface, providing users with more autonomy to manage their personal account, and easy access to both the data Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions for the use of downloaded data.

Existing users, active in the last two years, will receive an email to validate their new account. The Transfer to Operations of the EO Sign In system entails minor disruptions to migrate the users database to the new system.
