Minimize IDEAS+ Cal/Val Workshop 2017

The fourth IDEAS+ (Instrument Data quality Evaluation and Analysis Service) Cal/Val Workshop will be hosted in Lille, in the Laboratoire d'Optique Atmosphérique (LOA), from 6 to 7 April 2017.

The main objectives of the workshop are:

  • To report and discuss results of on-going Cal/Val projects within IDEAS+;
  • To look for synergies across different Cal/Val activities, foster new ideas and explore potential evolutions;
  • To formulate recommendations for improvements on Cal/Val protocols/methodologies, validation data analysis and associated algorithm baseline evolution;

The Workshop will be organised around different sessions addressing the main Earth Observation disciplines covered within IDEAS+ Cal/Val projects, namely, Calibration/Characterization, Land/Cryosphere, Oceans/Coastal, Atmosphere. A discussion session will be held at the end of each topic in order to collect recommendations and ideas for improvements.
