Swarm Data access simplified

In line with the ESA Earth Observation Data Policy, all validated Swarm Level 1b and Level 2 products are now freely accessible to all users via anonymous FTP. 

ESA Living Planet Symposium 2019

The forthcoming European Space Agency (ESA) Living Planet Symposium 2019 (LPS19), organised with the support of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), will be held in Milan, Italy, from 13 to 17 May 2019.


Interested users will be able to submit abstracts starting from 10 September 2018, until the deadline of 11 November 2018.

New ERS-2 GOME Level 1 v5.1 dataset available online

The post-operational full-mission reprocessing campaign of ERS-2 GOME consolidated data has been completed with an improved instrument processor version (Level-0-to-1 GDP Version 5.1). A new GOME Level 1b dataset has been generated for the 16-year mission period. The new data bring relevant quality improvements for the revised calibration approach, compensating aging and instrument degradation, and provide enhanced accessibility.

CryoSat Data unavailability on 20 June 2018

ALOS PALSAR OTF planned maintenance - 21 June 2018

Due to a scheduled maintenance, access to the On-The-Fly (OTF) Online Dissemination System (OADS) for the ALOS PALSAR data will be unavailable during the following time frame:

  • Thursday, 21 June 2018 from 09:00 to 12:30 CEST.

GOCE data access simplified

In line with the ESA Earth Observation Data Policy, all GOCE data are now freely available via the GOCE Virtual Archive without the need of prior registration. This applies also to users that have previously registered and obtained access credentials.
