ESA GOME TCWV Climate product available online

The GOME Total Column Water Vapour (TCWV) Climate product developed within the ESA GOME-Evolution project is now accessible from the ESA data archives together with the ERS-2 GOME data. The data is made available to users via direct download from the ESA Data Dissemination Service upon Fast Registration.

Deadline extended for the World Ocean Circulation user consultation 2019

A User Consultation Meeting is planned to take place on 21-22 February 2019 at ESA-ESRIN, Frascati, Italy, to prepare a roadmap for new initiatives on ocean circulation research and applications to be implemented in the ESA EO Science for Society programme element.

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 10 December 2018.

Tackling drought issues for food security

While there is a wealth of satellite data available to help predict the risk of drought, it can be daunting for a non-expert to handle. ESA's Food Security Thematic Exploitation Platform (FS-TEP) makes this task much easier.

New EOX Sentinel-2 cloudless map over Europe and Northern Africa service available under OSEO

The Open Science Earth Observation (OSEO) call aims to foster scientific and applications uptake of full archives of EO data, by offering third party services which exploit state of the art ICT.

ESA is pleased to announce the opening of the new EOX Cloud Free Sentinel-2 map Service as a 3rd-party service added to the OSEO call.

GOSAT - data access unavailability

Due to maintenance at Jaxa the dissemination of GOSAT data products on the ESA server will be suspended between 28 November 2018, 01:00(UTC) - 02 December 2018.

TEP platforms - Planned maintenance operation

A series of TEP platforms will be migrated to new domains on 3 December 2018. During the migration the websites will be unavailable from 10:00 to 14:00 CET.
