We would like to inform Swarm users that an on-board anomaly occurring on Swarm Charlie caused data gaps on all L0, L1A and L1B data products from 28 April 2019 onwards.
The Landsat 8 Portal service has been migrated to a new server and is accessible on the previous URL. The portal provides the European and Northern Africa coverage of Landsat 8 data since the beginning of the mission, with different Landsat Level 1 Collection Tiers available.
Developing a space mission is a long process that involves a lot of tests, sometimes in harsh environments. A team recently tested an airborne version of an imaging microwave radiometer to support the development of a potential satellite mission for Europe's Copernicus programme.

Time's up - there are only a few days left to register for ESA's upcoming Living Planet Symposium 2019 (deadline 30 April), where leading scientists will present their latest research results on everything from melting ice to desertification and warming oceans.

Due to maintenance at JAXA, the dissemination of GOSAT data products on the ESA server will be suspended on 9 May 2019 from 04:30 to 11:00 CEST.
Following the successful CryoSat Quality Working Group Meeting held from 26 to 28 November 2018, the upcoming CryoSat Ice Baseline-D data products have been further refined.
The Baseline-D ice chain will be transferred to operation on 27 May 2019 and will include several evolutions as well as a new data format (NetCDF).

The Sentinel Hub Custom Script Contest is a remotely run hackathon engaging data scientists, remote sensing scientists, students (from high school to university), and the general public worldwide to produce and share interesting (and new) algorithms to process Earth Observation data.
If you are interested in participating, the contest will end on 5 May 2019, so submit your entry soon.
