We would like to inform the Swarm users that the 2 Hz Langmuir Probes extended dataset coverage has been increased in the ESA FTP server. The time coverage will be updated on a daily basis. Data now cover the time interval from 02 December 2013 to the current date - 14 days for all Swarm spacecraft.
We are pleased to inform the Swarm users that an improved version of the Swarm 16 Hz faceplate density dataset (Product Baseline and File Counter 0201) is now available in the /Advanced/Plasma_Data/16_Hz_Faceplate_plasma_density folder on the Swarm FTP server.
The 2nd International Surface Working Group (ISWG) event will be held jointly with the 8th Land Surface Analysis Satellite Application Facility (LSA-SAF) Workshop in Lisbon, Portugal from 26 to 28 June 2018, at Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA).
Oral and poster presentations are accepted; registration and submission of abstracts will close on 16 April 2018.

The EDRS–SpaceDataHighway has now begun regularly relaying Earth images from Sentinel-2A, which marks the last of four Copernicus satellites in orbit being brought under the EDRS service.

Further to the announcement published on 12 December 2017 regarding the start of the GOP production, CryoSat scientific users are informed that the GOP data gap between the end of the Baseline B (i.e. on 07 October) and the announced start of Baseline C (i.e. on 06 November), has now been filled with L1b and L2 Baseline C data.

The level 1 data of the redundant GOCE GPS receiver have been made available on the GOCE Virtual Online Archive. The data set contains the RINEX data and the SST nominal L1b products and covers the de-orbiting period.

Near the end of last year, due to a huge amount of interest from the users, it was decided to acquire Proba-V data over Antarctica from November 2017 to February 2018.
The campaign has now been completed: the 1 km, 300 m and 100 m resolution products of Antarctica are available online via the Proba-V Distribution Platform in the respective product collections.

The international science community is invited to participate in the EarthCARE Science and Validation Workshop, which will take place in Bonn, Germany, from 11 to 15 June 2018.
The abstract submission deadline of 16 March 2018 applies to the EarthCARE Science Workshop only.
The European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with the French Space Agency (CNES) is organising an exceptional Symposium on 25 years of Progress in Radar Altimetry.
Users wishing to submit an abstract still have a chance to do so – the deadline for abstract submission has been extended until 08 March 2018.
