Total electron content (TEC) and rate of TEC index data for the entire GOCE science mission (Nov. 2009 to Nov.2013) are now available on the GOCE Virtual Archive.

New Planet Explorer catalogue for RapidEye

We are happy to inform you that a new online catalogue for RapidEye L3A products has been opened by Planet. The Planet Explorer replaces the old EyeFind catalogue, providing the ability to search and browse recent and past geospatial data by setting the time and area of interest. Requests for data older than 2012 and new tasking are satisfied directly by the Planet order desk (not via the catalogue).

Students invited to ESA's Living Planet Symposium 2019

Aeolus Cal/Val and Science Workshop - Registration deadline

The first in-orbit Aeolus Cal/Val and Science Workshop will be held at ESA-ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) from 26 to 29 March 2019. The workshop will focus on the mission status, first data quality and Cal/Val results, the planning of the NWP impact assessment, and on the scientific exploitation of Aeolus data including current and possible future products.

If you would like to attend the workshop, act soon, as pre-registration is mandatory and the deadline is 25 February 2019.

VH-RODA: Very High-resolution Radar & Optical Data Assessment workshop

The Very High-resolution Radar & Optical Data Assessment (VH-RODA) workshop will be held in Frascati, Italy from 18 to 22 November 2019. The workshop, hosted by ESA/ESRIN, will provide an open forum for the presentation and discussion of the current status and future developments related to the calibration and validation of space borne very high-resolution SAR and optical sensors and data products.

EOLi-SA now dismissed

Please be aware that the "EOLi-SA Catalogue and Ordering Service" is now dismissed and replaced by the ESA Simple Online Catalogue which was released in early January 2019.

User Consultation for Infrastructures Planning and Monitoring 2019

The European Space Agency (ESA) will host a joint DLR/ESA user consultation for infrastructures planning and monitoring conference, involving representatives from the academic, institutional and private sector on 26 and 27 February 2019 at ESA-ESRIN, Frascati, Italy.

The deadline for abstract submission has now been extended to 17 February 2019.

Swarm Bravo: L1B ASM data gap from 21 to 28 January 2019

We inform the Swarm users that from 21 to 28 January 2019, the ASM (Absolute Scalar Magnetometer) instrument on board Swarm Bravo was commanded in burst mode. Thus, the magnetic field intensity derived from the ASM and stored in MAGB_LR_1B and MAGB_CA_1B products is set to zero from 21 January 2019, at 07:36 UTC to 28 January 2019 at 06:54:23 UTC.

Envisat – MIPAS L1 dataset processed with MICAL v8.03 available online

The Level 1 reprocessing of the full Envisat MIPAS mission with the ESA MICAL processor version 8.03 has been completed and the data has been assessed with respect to the quality. The reprocessed dataset is now accessible to users from the ESA dissemination server.
