Start of Cryosat Ocean Baseline C production on 06 November

02 November 2017

As anticipated on 24 October 2017, the new Ocean Baseline C processors will go live on Monday, 06 November. The complete CryoSat Payload Data System is planned to be suspended from 09:00 to 14:00 UTC. During this time there may be a delay in acquiring data, but we do not expect any data to be lost.

Assuming the TTO proceeds successfully, we expect the last GOP Baseline B data to be generated and distributed on the Science Server with a validity of 07 October 2017. All GOP Baseline C data from 07 October to 06 November 2017, will be processed separately and published later.

We would like to remind everybody that the NOP (near real time) products will not be initially available. Therefore the first Ocean Baseline C data we expect to make available on the Science Server will be the IOP products from 06 November, which should be available approximately 24 hours later.
