Full Envisat ASAR AP data archive available via the ESA On-The-Fly service

30 August 2016

In addition to the newly released ASAR Image Mode (IM) data, the ASAR Alternating Polarisation Mode (AP) archive for the entire Envisat mission has now been included for data processing and download via the new (A)SAR On-The-Fly (OTF) service.

At the current stage, the OTF service allows users to generate ASAR IMS, IMP, APS and APP Level 1 products in Envisat format directly from ESA's Level 0 data archive.

Processing and download of the generated "standard scene" Level 1 products is performed directly through the EOLI-SA user interface via the following collections:

  • ASAR Image Mode (On The Fly)
  • ASAR Alternating Polarisation (On The Fly)

Users already retrieving ASAR IM data through OTF will automatically have access to the additionally released ASAR AP data.

For further details on the new (A)SAR On-The-Fly service, including information on user access and forthcoming OTF data releases (ASAR WS: Dec'2016 / ERS SAR: Q1/2017), see the links below or contact the EOHelp team.
