Information on the historic IPF1 baseline for CryoSat Ocean products is provided in the table below.

The current version of the IPF1 installed at the PDS is listed below, followed by information about the previous IPF versions:

  • IPF installation date
  • Changes with respect to the last IPF version
  • Various processor versions corresponding to the IPF update

COP-IPF1 v3.4 Upgrade of the CryoSat Ocean Processors to Baseline-C. This is a major SW upgrade and introduces significant evolutions to the processors with respect to Baseline-B. The update of IPF1 includes:
  • New format specification based on NetCDF
  • Native SAR/ SARIn data added to products over SAR/ SARIn regions
  • Addition of new parameters
  • New and updated geophysical corrections
  • Introduction of new Near-Real Time Ocean Products (NOP)

COP-IPF1 v2.6 SW update release containing:
  • New Static Aux Data files integrated to align the range bias with the IPFDB used for Baseline-C Ice Processing
  • Updated instrumental Look-Up Tables (LUT) determined by CLS in the frame of COP expertise activities
*L2 IOP from validity 25/03/2015 to 01/04/2015 and L2 GOP from validity 22/02/2015 to 01/04/2015 is a hybrid form using the old Baseline-B orbit model.
