The SPOT-5 (Take 5) call for proposals, which opened in November 2014, has now been closed. This call aimed to select a list of sites for observation in the final phase of SPOT-5's mission, which is expected to end with the satellite's deorbiting in autumn this year.

ESA and CNES have performed an assessment of the proposed sites and selected 150 sites which will be used in this experimental mission for SPOT-5. The experiment is scheduled to start in April 2015, following the nominal end of the mission at the end of March.

Following the conclusion of this mission phase later this year, the data obtained shall be made freely available to all users.
