The TerraSAR-X satellite acquired this view of the Las Vegas Strip in 2016. The strip is a stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada and is spread across 6.8 kilometres in the south of Las Vegas city between the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester.

23 July marks the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the launch of the first civilian Earth Observation satellite, Landsat-1. This false-colour image amidst several lakes, captured by Proba-V between 23-28 July, 2017; illustrates the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex, the fourth most populated metropolitan area in the United States.

11 July marks the UN's annual World Population Day. This day is dedicated to highlighting the urgency and importance of population issues. To mark the occasion, this 100m Proba-V image taken on 23 March 2017; shows the Mumbai agglomeration, with the city of Thane located to the east and visible in green the Sanjay Gandhi National Park located north of Mumbai.
