16 - 20 June 2017
The main objective of the Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT) initiative is to provide training activities for students and early-career scientists in the area of Earth Observation (EO), with an emphasis on remote sensing of land-cover changes and ecosystem dynamics.
The 5th Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT-5) EO training course will be held from 16 to 20 June 2017 and hosted by the University of Pécs, Hungary.
The topic of TAT-5 is "Multi-sensor Approaches in Studying Land Use/Land Cover Change". Lectures and training activities will be focused on the evaluation of impacts of land use/land cover change on ecosystems by using different types of sensors. The state-of-the-art advanced methods of Earth Observation shall be presented and discussed by leading experts from Europe and USA.
