The GOMOS pointing performance has degraded on 28 March while executing a calibration sequence in an extended Elevation range. Star occultation measurements were interrupted for two periods, namely within 29-30 March and within 31 March - 1 April, and outside these periods many occultations were missed till 1 April. Since 2 April 2009 performance has returned to very good levels.
A new technical website for the ESA's GOCE (Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer) satellite has been developed and launched on Earthnet Online, where also the latest mission operations news can be found. GOCE was launched on 17 March 2009 and is now in its commissioning phase.

Planning over the L `Aquila (Italy) Earthquake of 6 April 2009
ESA makes freely available to the EO user community a dataset including ESA missions (ERS-2, ENVISAT) as well as ESA Third Party Missions (ALOS PALSAR and AVNIR-2) data. Information on the dataset content and how to download the products are available here. The dataset will be progressively populated with the newest acquisitions and possibly new missions.
