The planning anomaly that prevented the restart of GOMOS after ENVISAT orbit lowering manoeuvre (22 October 2010) has been solved. As a consequence, GOMOS will resume operations on Monday early morning, 29 November 2010.

With the commissioning of ESA's CryoSat now complete, the mission has been officially transferred to the operations team. This milestone marks the beginning of the satellite's operational life delivering ice-thickness data to understand the impact of climate change on the polar environment.
Plots of the planned ERS-2 SAR acquisitions for the coming week are available.
