The operational processing of GOMOS off-line Level 1b and Level 2 products version 6.01 has resumed following the activation of a new processing chain at FinCo-PAC processing centre.
The ERS-1 and ERS-2 orbit files have been fully reprocessed over the period from July 1991 to June 2003, with up-to-date standards and are now available to users.

This User Meeting is the second one of the project and will be hosted at the National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) in Cork on the 05-06 October 2011. The event is planned to span the whole day of 05 to 06 October.
The meeting will allow participants to explain how the GlobWave data is being used in a series of lectures and posters, as well as the project team outlining the latest developments.

'Advances in geological remote sensing' is this year's theme for the Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) AGM. The event to be held in Frascati, Italy, also includes the second OGEO workshop aimed at bridging the oil and gas sector with the EO Service community. The GRSG will address applied and fundamental research that explores the application of remote sensing in mapping, monitoring and understanding the relationship between geology and the environment.
