Following the planned orbit control manoeuvre (OCM) which was executed from 20-21 April 2009, the precise unavailability periods for the affected instruments have been registered:
  • MERIS from 21-July 2009 04:40:00 to 21July 2009 06:22:30 UTC
  • ASAR from 20-Jul 2009 22:07:00 to 21July 2009 07:01:40 UTC
  • AATSR from 20-July 2009 22:07:00 to 21July 2009 06:55:00 UTC
  • MIPAS from 20-July 2009 22:04:10 to 21July 2009 06:55:00 UTC
  • GOMOS from 19-July 2009 22:05:10 to 21July 2009 06:48:00 UTC
  • SCIA from 20-July 2009 22:00:00 to 21July 2009 07:41:00 UTC

Third Coastal Altimetry Workshop

17 September 2009 - 18 September 2009

This 3rd Coastal Altimetry Workshop is intended to review progress in retrieving altimeter data in the coastal zone and to strengthen the links between the coastal altimetry community and the wider range of users, including scientists and those responsible for data integration. One expected outcome will be to inform users of progress made toward exploitation.
Deadline for registration is 30 July 2009.

EOLI-SA new release (v 6.2.2)

A new release of EOLI-SA (v 6.2.2) will be available for download on the EOLI-SA web pages starting 23 July 2009 at 14:00 GMT.
From then on, users will be requested to perform the update in order to continue working with EOLI-SA.

EnviView version 2.7 released

EnviView is a free application that allows Envisat data users to open any Envisat data file and examine its contents. It provides simple visualisation capabilities, and allows data to be exported to HDF for use in other software packages. New release of EnviView is 2.7.
