This image was acquired by Envisat's Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) instrument on 30 January 2009, working in Full Resolution mode to provide a spatial resolution of 300 metres.

Minimize Earth Observation Resources

MODIS Terra and Aqua NRT data via MERCI-MODIS

Starting on 16 February 2009, the MERCI-MODIS tool will be fed with daily NRT (Near Real Time) data from the new MODIS acquisition and processing systems (SEADAS processor) installed at the receiving stations of Kiruna, Matera and Maspalomas.
