Sea ice concentration derived from Static Climatology File for period 6-10th March 2012

04 May 2012

During the period 6-10 March 2012, CryoSat Level-2 SAR data products were processed with the static climatology file of March due to the unavailability of the nominal dynamic sea ice concentration files at the time of processing. As a result, users may observe ambiguous sea ice concentration in the Level-2 SAR products for this period, as large inter-annual variability in sea ice concentration is not detected using the static climatology files.
